Jury reaches verdict in trial of actor Jussie Smollett for alleged hate crime hoax

A jury in Chicago has reached a verdict in the case of Jussie Smollett, the "Empire" actor who was charged with six felony counts of making false reports to police that he was a victim of a hate crime in January 2019.
